- In addition to testing 134 types of foods, the FIT test also covers all food categories, including MSG, food coloring, and preservatives. Therefore, avoiding foods found in this test will improve the effectiveness of treatment for hidden allergic disorders.
Furthermore, it has been found that when the allergic foods are discontinued, the severity of the allergy is reduced or even changed. Therefore, after treatment, the FIT test should be repeated every 6-12 months to monitor symptoms and adjust the treatment program to reflect the current condition.
